I enjoy the simple shapes found in this bar stool. I constantly find myself drawn to objects of significance in my life. I have created several pieces of artwork that have chairs as the subject matter, and I think I am attracted to them because of what they represent; they are a sort of blind faith. We sit in them every day under the inherant presumption that they will support us, so we excercise faith without the conscious acknowledgement that we are doing so.
