This piece is a reproduction of a painting I recently completed. I wanted to carry the same idea over to the medium of tape that I explored through oil. It deals with an inherant duplicity of things--a rose representing both the establishment of love and the end of life; it is given in situations of love, and it is given at funerals, so it represents both love and sorrow to me.
