This piece was inspired by some pictures I ran across that my wife had taken of herself on her computer camera. The photos are composed of expressions that I rarely see on her, most of them comical and goofy. It caused me to think of the things we keep hidden that even those closest to us are not allowed to access. They are not always shameful things; they could simply be quirky pictures. The point, however, is that everyone wears facades. This tendency happened in the Garden when shame was created by disobedience to God's commands and the ripples of that moment extend into even this generation.
